I can honestly say I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Scranton Prep, from the clubs and sports to academics, I really feel I’ve gotten a taste for college life. I do wish the pandemic was handled better, as we stayed open despite the increasing number of positive COVID tests throughout the building. Luckily, outbreaks were avoided, but remote learning should’ve been the route the school took. I also wish there was a bit more diversity, as it is a predominantly white school, but nonetheless a decent amount of my classmates are minorities. As far as applying to college goes, the college admissions councilors are very helpful and walked me through every step of the process, easing the stress. Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better high school experience!
I absolutely love Scranton Prep! The teachers really care, and the administrators and college advisors go above and beyond to help us succeed. The school is gorgeous, and they provide lots of clubs and activities to participate in.
Scranton Preparatory School has given me a new outlook on the world. I believe that going here has changed my worldview and has made me a better person overall. Scranton Prep's mission statement is to become men and women for others. Prep works hard to ensure that students embrace this ideal. Another thing about Scranton Prep is the importance of community service. Service gives students the opportunity to go out into the world in an attempt to make a change. I embrace the ideals and standards that are given to a Scranton Prep student. I am proud to say that I attend Scranton Prep. I often find myself talking about Scranton Prep outside of school. Whether that be to friends, family, or even in most cases strangers. I love to hear positive feedback on my school. I am proud to call Scranton Prep my home. The Prep Family has given me so much more than academics. Scranton Prep has helped me grow out of my comfort zone and has influenced me to be a woman for others.
