Sciotoville Community School Reviews
Rating 3.44 out of 5 18 reviews
I love this school, which is why it's the only school I've been to in my academic career. The school has its ups and downs. First off the staff are great, very nice and welcoming people. The teachers usually do whatever it takes to reassure that you're coming out of their class more knowledgeable. The downsides have to be the facilities, the building is around 100+ years old and has had renovations but a entirely new building is what's desperately needed, but it is a charter school so you'll have that I guess.
Despite being salutatorian of my graduating class, this school did not play a part in me being able to obtain that status. The education provided was subpar at best, granted the teachers that provided it were good. The facilities and condition of them was not very well kept and outdated.
My experience at Sciotoville Community Schools is very average. The people here are pretty nice and the academics are ok. This school also does not have the bullying problem that other schools in the area have. Because it is so small, there is a strong sense of family. The extracurricular programs are also improving yearly.
