Science Park High School is a great school because of the education you get there is very high quality in comparison to other inner-city schools plus there are other opportunities (AP courses, IB courses, honors, etc.) that can help you build your future for the college environment. There are some teachers who introduced students to different ways of thinking and a plethora of courses, necessary for success in the real world. It is highly strict therefore you get exactly what you deserve. There are many activities to join so it's not all about academic achievements but also about enjoy the time spent at the school. Though the administration needs a little more work (for instance, they need to expel all those incompetent students that are making our school look bad), Science Park is the best thing that has happened to me. Extremely diverse, academically rigorous, comprised of intellectual and innovative students; Science Park shines the most out of all schools in the City of Newark.

The thing about Science Park is although it does prepare you for college the environment is beyond stressful, and not much is done about it. Some teachers are beyond amazing and others are terrible causing students to have panic attacks constantly. Along with that there is a sort of dicrimination at this school and a lot of problems go unsolved while most of the school is left blind to the issue since the administration sweeps everything under the rug to preserve their reputation. Yes science Park is a good place to learn but it’s clearly lacking in many places.
Science Park has a diverse environment with a variety of academics and clubs. The teachers really do their best in order to help you and provide a comfortable place to learn. However, Science has been known to take very little care of its plumbing and overall physical appearance. The system at Science can be rather stressful for a few due to some teachers, at certain points, valuing grades more than academic growth in the individual. It isn't perfect, but it does have some flaws that suppress the pros.
