Science Leadership Academy (SLA) is an amazing school that offers many opportunities! They offer classes at the Franklin Institute for Freshman, and they network with companies in the city to provide internships for the Upperclassmen. They way we are taught teaches us efficient methods of public speaking and presentation. We are taught to be leaders and innovators who run off of inquiry and curiosity. The teachers are extremely personable and they prioritize their students well being. It is extremely comforting for me to know that teachers who I could confide in if I needed to. SLA is the perfect school for me, and I would totally recommend it to anyone.

I am a alumni of Science Leadership Academy. Choosing this school was one of the best choices of my life. The environment is safe and diverse, full of faculty and staff who love to educate tomorrow's leaders. SLA is a project-based school that believes in inquiry, research, collaboration, presentation, and reflection. Each student is equipped with a laptop to complete all of their assignments (My class received Macbook pros, however, we have a partnership with Dell so the students receive Chrome books). SLA does not use many textbooks because it believes that the internet has a vast amount of information (it has to be credible though). MY high school not only prepared me for college, but prepared me for the world by offering me many opportunities! Overall, I highly recommend SLA for the best high school experience.
This school is very different from a traditional school. I feel that I can go to my teachers most of the times and have them actually acknowledge what I say. I feel the school let us know of matters that needs to be dealt with together. The school is very accepting of all, which I really like. The most appealing aspect of this school is really the diversity. Most schools seems to have mostly black or mostly white. With this school, it's pretty diverse. It's also has a lot less stress then other schools. They open up opportunities to make connections outside of the school. Their college process could be better, it's a bit hectic. I feel that this school has a balance for arts and academics. To me, nothing is dull. Even if it is, it's not for long. Overall, it's a good school and I'm glad to go there.
