Soti wasn’t a bad school. I was a student at soti from 5-7th grade, and it was pretty fine. However, being a minority, it was quite strange since most of the students were white. I felt like I didn’t fit in with the students as well as the white kids. Thankfully I’ve never had to deal with any racism at the school, but I’ve seen other minorities experience racism from the students as well as teachers. The people at this school also seem to not be entirely accepting of different religious beliefs, but I guess that’s to be expected considering it’s a catholic school. I wouldn’t recommend this school to people that find diversity important, and that goes for race and beliefs (political as well as religious).
I love this school! I’m really sad that we are moving next year. I wish I could take the teachers with us. My child has grown so much this year in confidence, spiritually, and academically. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
I love SOTI! It is a wonderful faith filled atmosphere with excellent character development. The teachers and administration genuinely care about their students. I like that the school is small and you get to know all the parents and teachers. I would highly recommend this school to anyone wanting a catholic education for their child.
