Being at the School of the Arts was an amazing opportunity. I loved being able to step outside of my major and participate in other things like plays or helping to tech shows. The encouragement and help from the teachers is incredible! I wouldn't choose another school if given the chance.

My experience at school of the arts is great, this school is very diverse and that is something i really care about you'll meet a lot of different types of kids here. There is always something new going on in school which makes the school not boring at all. There is tons of plays that goes on during the school year; Holiday plays and many other plays. Academically this is a great school many of the teachers here are great and understand each of their students struggles and they all try their very hardest to help you with any and all the struggles you have.
As an alumni of School of the Arts, I remember my high school experience fondly. School of the Arts afforded me several opportunities to express myself and to branch out in ways that I hadn't anticipated I would be able to. The attention given to artistic expression allowed me to tap into a part of myself that was confident, excited about life, and eager to constantly improve. Though I am not pursuing a career in the art that I studied during high school, my participation in theater shaped me into the individual that I am today. I am incredibly appreciative of all that School of the Arts has given to me. The connections that I was able to make with friends, staff, the outside community, and with myself, have guided the life that I live today.
