I think the school itself is a bit crowded considering that there are about 400 students and around 20-30 staff members, while only having two hallways. Most of the teachers here really seem to focus more on whether their students are learning, over making sure they plainly memorize terms. I personally really like that there are 4 classes that are 1 and 1/2 hours long because they can be more focused on those subjects, which helps in preparing students for college. The administration can be overbearing sometimes, where it seems like they are looking for something to complain about. They have gotten more and more strict lately. The student population is quite diverse in itself, you will people from all backgrounds who go to the school, and it's quite easy to make friends.
I am a proud teacher at SST. I have taught in other districts in the public domain, but SST is so much different. It is a family!
The students who attend here are amazing. They inspire me to be a better educator. Our students have designed and created 3-D printed hands for children born with missing limbs. I am in awe of the innovative future leaders, doctors, cyber security warriors, computer programmers and other STEM professionals that attend here. These students are going to change the world!
I have been part of this family for 5 years and plan to stay here until I retire. In my opinion, there is no better school out there! The administration treats the faculty with respect and I feel appreciated each day.
More importantly, the administration care very much about the students, as well. Many were former educators or counselors at this school. They know all the students and really listen to students' concerns.
SST truly is the best place to be!

I have had a great experience with the School of Science & Technology, San Antonio-Main Campus. This school has many activities and clubs for the kids to be part of. The students are incredibly smart and the teachers are nice and well informed in their subject areas. The administration is helpful and knows how to run the school well. It is a wonderful place to be. There is a new building location opening soon and the students and staff are looking forward to it.
