My enrollment into SST completely shattered my previous experiences in school. Throughout all my years in SST, I have never been to a school with a more closely knit support group of teachers, administrators, parents, and students than this one. Despite SST's small number of students and teachers to match, compared to larger high schools, our community ensures that everyone feels welcomed and treated fairly regardless of their social background. Although SST is a great school in every aspect, there are a couple things that could make it even better. A major drawback to SST is that it virtually has no physical education or a legitimate sports team, besides ultimate frisbee. In my opinion, to give SST students a more healthier 4 years in high school, there needs to be a physical education elective.

The School of Science and Technology did a great job of preparing me for college by offering a challenging workload, and amazing teachers. They also allow students to manage the amount of courses taken per semester. Because of this, I was able to graduate early.
The best part of my school experience were the teachers. In SST, teachers are rigorous yet outgoing. By providing hard work, they push the student to learn more about the subject. If the student doesn't understand the content, they spend their time to make sure the students understand the content. In addition, they try to connect with the students and learn their hobbies which, in turn, makes the experience invaluable. The next best part of the school is the community. Students care about each other and try to help each other out if there's an issue. The only part of SST that is lacking is the diversity in the ratio of male to female students. Other than that minor setback, the school is a fantastic choice and I think that this was the best possible school I could have gone to.
