I believe if you are a student that is striving for academic excellence, then SAS South is the place for you. SAS has all the resources to make your college application as strong as possible. The size of the school is great (medium size classes) but small school, so it becomes like a family, including faculty. School lunch is the same as in any public school, not bad but always can improve. There are a good amount of clubs one can join and there are several activities throughout the year to build school spirit and involvement. The freedom students get here being on a college campus and going to school like college students is a unique experience that helps its students develop and make a smooth transition from high school to college.

School for Advanced Studies is an academically advanced school which encourages a challenging environment for students to grow as individuals. The school allows kids to prepare for the real world and gets their feet wet for the rigor that college brings. The learning space is relatively small for a typical high school, which it is not, and that makes this place a second home or a family. The courses provided are academically demanding and it is not for the faint of heart. The only concern that I may have would be with allowing students more options for high school classes especially since there are none in the science field as well as anything remotely athletic, save for a club. Overall, kids are left to manage their own time and take on a lot of responsibility. For these reasons, this school is sublime, deserving all five stars.
School for Advanced Studies (SAS) is a full time dual enrollment program for the juniors and seniors that get accepted. By providing us with a resources in a college environment, SAS has given me the opportunity to get my associates degree for no cost before graduating high school. With supporting teachers, close friends, and a comforting environment, I am able to thrive on campus.
