School for Advanced Studies is a very challenging and enriching environment. Here, students are challenged to their wits end and then some more. Students see their potential flourish before them as they see that they can go farther than they'd ever imagined. There is a lot of diversity in the school, making for an interesting bond within the 120 or so students currently enrolled at North. As for academics, they could no be more rigorous. However, we are better prepared for college and universities by our experiences and more personal help from our counselor. At this school, peers become family as we help each other through our struggles and see ourselves succeed together. I would truly recommend this school to anybody that is willing to dedicate their time and effort into something that is truly worthwhile.
I have spent a whole school year at school for advanced studies, a school that most students fear! Throughout my time in this school I have learned to push myself and I have learned to accept failure. This school really pushed me to be the best that I can be academically. I wouldn't change a thing about this school, I just hope that it stays the way it is, and keeps giving students like myself an opportunity to get their Associate's Degree right after their High school graduation!
