I currently have 4 children attending SCS in various age groups and they have all been there since kindergarten. We are very pleased with the school and my children have received a well-rounded wonderful Christian education! Many of the teachers are very caring and teach with a Biblical perspective that I expect to see in a Christian school. Although some may feel that the school doesn't have as many clubs and activities that many public schools and larger Christian schools have, I feel that SCS uses the resources that they have to engage the students in as many different aspects of school life as they can. The tuition costs are much lower than many of the other Christian schools in the area and so I feel that for what we are paying for tuition, the school gives us everything we need. My children will leave SCS equipped with everything they need to go to college and most importantly, will have gained an education that is based on God's word.

My children attend SCS. I have found the academics to be comprehensive without being overwhelming. The teachers love my children. Other parents at the school have reached out to me and shown kindness.

I absolutely love the cultural diversity found in the classroom. My young children remained "color blind" for a long time, seeing only beauty in the people around them, sweetly oblivious to any differences that divide so many across our nation. What a beautiful multicultural environment for my children to mature in!

I am also an alumna of the school. I attended in the 80s and 90s. So very much has changed here for the good since that very strict time. I appreciate it when an institution can recognize its weaknesses and work to correct them. I appreciate 2nd chances and am so glad that I gave one to SCS.

I plan to continue sending my children here as well as enroll my others as they become school age.
Schaumburg Christian School severely lacks strong educational bases for grades 9-12. The science department, for example, could be substantially improved with the employment of more qualified instructors. Being a private religious school, students are inevitably exposed to Baptist Christian opinions. However, I found that these opinions were often forced upon myself and my classmates in an insensitive manner. I have been lectured by many teachers and pastors whom I consider racist, sexist, and homophobic. To be clear, not every faculty member of the institution is this way. Several teachers at SCS are wonderful instructors, and I have learned very much from those select few.

There are two positive strengths: Firstly, students are conditioned to be very well disciplined in our work ethic. Secondly, many teachers at this school are truly devoted to forming strong professional student-teacher relationships.
