Savannah High School Reviews
Rating 3.19 out of 5 97 reviews
There are a lot of opportunities for school spirit at my high school. Students like to get very involved in their activities which makes the dynamic of the school great! Our school is pretty old though, and we have several problems like leaking vents and mice. Our school isn't very diverse, but we do live in a small town, so that is to be expected. Overall, it is a great school and a great school district.
Savannah High School is located in a small, rural town so it’s difficult to get funding. The majority of the teachers, however, are amazing and always willing to help. As usual, sports is put above the arts program and, unfortunately, there wasn’t a play my Senior year. Overall, it’s a smaller school with lots of school pride (though the mascot is questionable) and I greatly enjoyed all the teachers and staff.
Savannah High School isn’t the best school around. They have great teachers who care for their students and try to create a great atmosphere. However, their diversity is subpar, and their college readiness is as well. They do not have many programs for preparing for college besides a couple AP classes and Duel Credit courses. Their administration is not great but not bad either, it’s stricter then needs to be. Overall, Savannah is a good school to go to, if you like a class size of around 160 people, and caring teachers.
