I am very appreciative of the years I have spent at Saratoga Springs High School. I have been fortunate to have been a dual Varsity athlete in a competitive district while maintaining High Honor Roll and National Honor Society Status. The support from teachers, coaches and staff has directly contributed to my success and I am extremely appreciative.
The academic offerings at Saratoga, coupled with sports and clubs make for an environment where every student has the opportunity for participation in an activity if they choose. The potential for success at Saratoga Springs High School is high for those willing to work to achieve.

I had a pretty good experience . Nothing great, but nothing bad either. At every school i think you'll have good teachers and bad teachers, however i would say there are definitely more good. Elementary school was a great time, i loved it there. The field trips were awesome. Middle school was middle school which i think probably stinks no matter where you go. The majority of the bad teachers are at the middle school though. High school was okay. They came up with a bunch of unnecessary rules and restrictions my junior/senior year which was pretty annoying. However pep rallys and sports games were really fun to attend. There were lots of clubs, activities and volunteer opportunities at the middle school and high school. So if you make an effort to get involved in those it will make you look good for colleges, help you make more friends and meet new people, and you'll have a lot of fun. I may not be the greatest reviewer of this school in terms of senior year experience due to corona.
Only after graduating from Saratoga Springs High School (SSHS), I realized how good of a school it was. It helped prepare me for college immensely. I worked hard at Saratoga, and harder at college, but the workload at college was not insurmountable due to my education at SSHS. Every year starting in 6th grade, we had to write a longer paper. By the time I went to college, I was very skilled at researching using databases and the library. I knew how to cite, I knew how to form well-written paragraphs and I knew how to write on a subject for more than 10 pages. Many of my peers had not written past a page or two in high school. This is one of many examples of how SSHS prepared me for college.
One downside of Saratoga is that it is a very rich and very white community, While my family was not rich, we were white. There is very little diversity in Saratoga and there is very little diversity in the school systems.
