My child and I are both very happy with SSAS. I have a son that struggles to get through classwork but loves athletics. He has found a good balance and has received a lot of extra help with his school work. SSAS has found the right classes and middle school "balance" for him. I love the diversity and the size of the school. The staff is really helpful and wants to do a great job. My kid has never "loved" school, but he enjoys SSAS and he is successful both socially and acedemically! I am grateful for everything they do for all of the kids, they CARE and it shows!

Social scene seems appropriate. My son says there is no treatment of different ethnic, racial, or sexual diversity.
My experience has been mostly positive. I think the school could be proactive about the stealing problem. My student has had 2 jackets stolen during class only to be told there is nothing that can be done about it. I resent that no questioning or search occurred even though a case could be made for a reasonable search to be done.
