+ Curriculum, OK.
+ Special needs kids interaction, a BIG PLUS.
- Homework, not challenging enough.
- Assembly awards, a HUGE MINUS.
- There's a separate enriching MATH ACADEMY only for "certain" kids, a MINUS.

All was well until one day I accidentally found out about gifted awards ceremony (Kinder onwards). White envelopes are secretly sent to awardees' parents.
Kids from Grade-K were recognized as gifted. Many didn't receive any character awards either.
Kids are still learning, building critical skills.
There's a long way to go!

- One of my kids broke down, "they don't see my hard work at all. I don't want to do any hard work!"
My other kid was equally competitive and was awarded.

- They boast of a Psychologist on campus. They aren't consulted about kids' emotional trauma?!

+ We moved to a different city where their new school don't identify giftedness until G3

A fixed mindset is prevalent in many schools and minds.
My recommendation to school: "Limitless Mind" by Jo Boaler.
