I attended Santa Fe High School from 2016 until 2020. While I was a student at Santa Fe I have come to realization that the teachers are preparing us for the real world; college, jobs, etc. Santa Fe has been known for a few incidents in the past 3 years but besides that it is a really good school! A few things I would like to see change after I graduate is the sanitation. The bathrooms here are not very sanitized and cleaned properly. This school needs to install better restrooms, mirrors, and sinks! In fact, the whole facility needs to be remodeled. Santa Fe has an amazing staff and they will take care of you as if you are their own; especially our amazing principal, Dr. LeClear.

Santa Fe is a rural school with many options for those going into many careers, with Agriculture, veterinary assisting, and biotechnology career magnets that are funded and immersive. Many AP classes offered, some are not available due to not enough demand (ex. AP biology). Many teachers do actually care about students, and the student government is wonderful at coordinating pep events. My main complaint is the rampant bullying, especially due to the bigoted ideas of the rural student body, but that isn’t a fault of the school itself.
Personally, I enjoyed numerous things throughout high school and my experiences through Santa Fe. I enjoyed the fact that I was able to take multiple AP courses and found just what I needed in order to find a class schedule which fits me. The only thing Id really change about Santa Fe is the school involvement; students aren't as involved in some major decisions about their high schools lives like I believe they should be. But, overall a great school!
