My school is very small so you get to know everyone, even if it’s from grade 6 to grade 12 you meet a ton of different people with different talents. The best thing I like about St. Mary’s is that we help the community at least once every quarter where students go out in our local community and help. Examples include feeding the homeless, painting rusty fire hydrants or even cleaning up our local churches. The good thing about going to a private school is that no one is really different, we all wear the same clothes and there truly is no bullying at our school, we all get together quite nicely!

Teachers and administrators know the kids well, they are approachable, and seem to want the best for each of them. We've had kids here since preschool, with 1 off to college so far. College prep is strong, sports and extracurriculars are accessible and teach our kids beyond the classroom. Spiritual and sacramental prep are outstanding...it's improved the faith-life of our entire family.
Going to this high school was interesting to say the least. While the academic programs are quite good, the school puts much more focus on its sports than it does the arts. Also, not much is done to prevent clique bullying. In my experience, cliques were stronger and more ruthless at this school than any other and little was done about it. I would recommend this school for self confident kids looking for rigorous academics and the best in college readiness.
