SRVHS is in a great area and the teachers all seem very nice. My biggest concern is that many teachers do not do a good job responding to parents. My son has had so many subs this year and has found himself confused in class. I was also told that there was no point in having a 504 meeting because teachers don't usually show up. Though the teachers are nice, one thing to remember is that you are basically on your own if your son or daughter is struggling!
I expect more from a school in an affluent area like Danville, CA.

The teachers were always willing to help students, and it had a great sense of school spirit. I loved the open style of the campus and having the opportunity to go off campus for lunch as a senior. The school also planned a lot of great in-school activities for each class!
SRV is a great place that not only provides a great high school education, but also creates a safe and cooperative culture. The staff and administration really care about every student and are always willing to help with any challenges a student is facing. Fellow students are very helpful as well and most are great people. Best advice is be who you are, and get to know students and staff at the school well. You will find people that are just as excited and passionate about the things that you are interested in.
