They have an excellent dedicated staff and the teachers are great along with the students. Just wish they had the students had more electives to choose from.

There are very few teachers, most of them don't pursue you to do anything remotely challenging during class. Students talk, play on their cell-phones, listen to music instead, etc. The school is very compact and small, so everyone knows eachother. Most of the students gossip about eachother, stick to their cliques and the girls start drama with eachother. There are occasional fights that students encourage which happen in the bathrooms. Bullying is a very big issue at the school. None of the staff activity tries to stop it. Club wise, there have been very big budget cuts, so we only have 2-3 which are tribal. The soccer team was cut, along with drama club and a few other electives. There is absolutely no school spirit, in fact, the students see it "lame" to have pride in their school and discourage those who do. No one dresses up for spirit week and when your grade level is called for pep-rallies no one claps or stands up. The worst part of the school is the environment produced by the students. On the other hand, the school is very easy to pass if you have a child that struggles to pass classes. The teachers basically grade you an A just for showing up because that is the most effort any student is willing to put in, given that most of them ditch or don't show up. The cafeteria food is always either a corn dog & skim milk, a sandwich or a grilled cheese. The gymnasium doesn't have an air conditioner, so the students have to walk/jog laps in 110 degree weather.
There isn't a large amount of challenges in regard to ethnic/racial diversity and/or sexual orientation because since this is a small school, everyone is able to know and see just about everyone. This allows people to get to know someone and better understand where that person is coming from and who he or she is as a person.
