My personal experience at San Pasqual has been pretty good. In terms of academics, SP has a variety of different courses and they're all relatively interesting! Many AP classes are offered, as well as college prep or art classes. The clubs and sports are also a great way to really get involved with the school and made my own time much more enjoyable. I'd also say the majority of the teachers are really cool, and they teach extraordinarily well! The school recently adapted a no-bell schedule and it was implemented to prepare students for college, since there are no bells in the future telling us when class starts. Although it was strange at first, the idea is pretty cool!

The energy at San Pasqual High School is never a dull one. Every classroom has plenty of willpower, every football game has more than enough spirit, and every student has at least a hint of motivation to succeed. Of course, some students are not the smartest or the best behaved, but they are always persevering so they can improve in whatever area they need to work on. The teachers care about the class they teach more than the money they get paid, and it shows every day when they light up the classroom. Some programs at our school have been overshadowed by others because of prestige, but all we can do to change that is just to excel in everything we do so we can persevere and become the best version ourselves that we can be. United, we are San Pasqual!
Compared to the Escondido High School district, a great school, compared to the county's schools, San Pasqual is average. Average sports programs, the school is completely centered around the football program and little to no involvement with the aquatic sports, bad mitten, wrestling, tennis and almost all women's sports. The academic life is average and the school does a good job encouraging students in taking advanced placement classes, whether the students are ready for a college class or not. The school does not do a good job in preparing students for the life and responsibilities of an adult; getting and keeping a job, being a parent, providing for one's self. Although nursery program is very good in care taking for teen parent's children and preparing those parents for future life as a parent. SP's administration is catered to the Associated Student Body and favors those particular students. San Pasqual, like any school, has it's strengths and weaknesses.
