I am currently a senior at San Juan Hills and I have to say I have been quite impressed with the way my school conducts itself. Most of the staff here at SJHHS truly care about us students and do their best to help us reach our goals. What I will say is at SJHHS individual initiative must be taken when it comes to earning good grades. However, most teachers are more than happy to help students who need help in various classes. Compared to other schools in our district, I feel as though San Juan Hills is the best, both academically and socially! I always feel safe on campus and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at San Juan Hills!

I love the community and spirit of San Juan Hills High School. These past four years have allowed me to grow academically and mentally. There is a wide variety of classes varying from AP to afterschool ROP that allow students to explore different interests and possible career paths. However, not every teacher is qualified to be teaching certain courses and there are inconsistencies within the same class (different teachers) in terms of the course itself and the way assignments are graded as well as inconsistencies within departments as well. The classes are challenging and rigorous, and I normally do feel well educated on the course after I have taken it. Despite not having the best football team, our school has so much spirit! However, our arts program is one of the best in the district and is hardly highlighted and commended compared to the hype that is given to the sports teams.
At San Juan Hills, every student matters. The faculty and staff make sure that every student feels cared for and accepted. As a senior here, the last four years have been filled with life long memories of support from my teachers and true joy of fulfilling my education. Through my hardships in life, my teachers could always find a way to make me smile and would go the extra mile for me when I asked for help. The only change I could possibly think of is to give them a raise because of the tremendous work they do each and every day. I will forever be appreciative of San Juan Hills High School for giving me the bedt high school experience a student could ask for!
