From San Juan Diego Catholic High School

San Juan Diego Catholic High School opened in August 2002 after Archbishop Gregory Aymond recognized the acute need for Catholic college preparatory education in Austin. SJD is modeled after Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago, where students work in entry-level internships in the corporate world to earn part of their tuition.

Through small classes, challenging academics, and a corporate internship, students receive the personal mentoring necessary to become excellent students and well-rounded individuals.

San Juan Diego Catholic High School has taught me how to become a professional and upstanding citizen in the SJD community. Also I gained priceless experience and knowledge in the corporate world which will help when entering my adult life. But more importantly, SJD has enriched my spiritual life and relationship with God.
Review San Juan Diego Catholic High School
I like that this school is very unique. It has a work study program that i enjoy very much. It makes it different among other schools and it is what appeals to me the most. It is also small which can be a good and bad thing. It is good because it is like a family with the relationships formed with others. Like a family, you are not always going to get along so there is not really any way to avoid it. It is also pretty strict and contradictory with their enforcement of rules. Overall, the school is okay and its strongest point would be its work study program.
I like San Juan Diego because they have a great Internship programs. Students are available to work, one day out of the week, in places like: Dell Children's Hospital, Dell Technologies, and the Dioceses of Austin.
