I came to this high school having gone to public school my whole life and really had nothing else to compare it to until my years into the school grew and I started hearing experiences from other students from other schools. For what it is, it's an okay school there's definitely better and there's definitely worse, you just can't compare it to a school that has better funding and is better ran. I have made excellent friends and learned so much while being here but I also feel that the size of the school does take a toll on how much one can really get out of this school.

SGMHS was a great high school I attended all four years. The factually and staff are very nice and as well always willing to give you a hand. Some events I enjoyed were welcome week, mission homecoming, winter talent show, spring sing, play day and mission Coachella. I excelled by participating in events, playing two sports and as well I was apart of student government. I would not choose any other school than San Gabriel Mission High School.
I am currently a Senior at SGMHS. It is a small private all girls school. I love the fact that we are small. I have been able to establish a one on one relationship with all my teachers. The teachers offer tutoring or any advisement. This school encourages all students to make a difference in themselves and the community. I have become a leader in my community because of SGMHS. I look forward to taking on challenges and completing the tasks given to me. Because of the administration and the teachers I found my career interest to be Urban Planning. I know SGMHS has given an awesome education. More important this school has given me tools for life lessons, public speaking and a solid college preparation.
