It was a nice experience at San Gabriel High School. They provided the resources I needed for me to succeed, like tutoring and college help. All the teachers and staff were kind. They helped me when I needed it! There were some very good teachers that I had that ultimately made class very fun and informational. Though I had some teachers that were hard to understand, though they were still nice people! I got to participate in events and in extracurricular activities, which were pretty fun. The college advisors helped me with my college application and held informational college events! Due to the unfortunate circumstances right now, the college advisors threw a Decision Day party online and it was fun!

SGHS has a wonderful, diverse, passionate, community of students and staff members. As an upcoming senior, I can say I've seen many dedicated counselors try to give us the best opportunities and I've had memorable moments with a lot of my teachers. Our school is filled with competitive students, which make exam days a little nerve-wracking, but I've heard a lot of our seniors get into Cal-state and UC schools!
The staff cares about your wellbeing. Shoutout to the awesome counselors! They have alternative learning options for students with different needs. This school boasts a high graduation rate (the exact number escapes me). Students are mostly either Hispanic or Asian (and sometimes both LOL), though last time I was there more South Asian and black students started attending.
