San Domenico School Reviews
gorgeous campus, I am so grateful to be attending SD and for the
education I am receiving here. When people ask me what makes SD stick out among other independent schools, I always say our international student body, with students
from more than 20 countries from all corners of the world. From
my international friends and classmates, I have learned about the
discrimination against Romanians in Eastern Europe, how China’s Belt
Road Initiative is impacting countries such as Zimbabwe, and how
Türkiye and the United States’ political atmospheres are similar. Watching the leaves change color and the goats grazing on the green hillsides in spring always uplifts my spirits, and I believe our
campus helps us receive an enriched educational experience. The education and experiences that I am experiencing at SD are unmatched, and I am so glad that I chose to spend my high school years at San Domenico!
SD provides all of the extras beyond reading, writing and math that make school engaging and fun. My middle school student has really loved the Mandarin program. The teacher makes the class relevant and interesting by incorporating all kinds of art projects. My child signs up for a new elective every semester and has loved all of them so far - writing and publishing a children’s book, growing and cooking food in the garden, guitar and tennis.
My kids love the freshly-made hot lunches and enjoy the bus ride to and from school with their friends. Overall it’s been a wonderful spot for our family.
