My experience at San Bernardino High School has been one of the most memorable and honorable experience I will remember in my my life. My school has so much potential that others don't see in our district and out of our district. There are many students like me and others who are trying to help make a change to our community and reputation. I have had the greatest privilege in being able to attend San Bernardino High School as they have offered the best programs and academics achievements anyone can ask for, we are constantly making changes to our school to help benefit each student and there needs. I am proud to say that I am a cardinal and always will be. San Bernardino High School has made me the person I am today. I plan on attending Penn State University or Pratt Institute in the fall of 2020 when I graduate. I have guidance and mentors that are constantly encouraging me every day and I am very grateful.

It does the best it can in the given environment. Sure there are plenty of kids who could not give a single care about the school, but in my experience many people I come in contact with at the school care. People ranging from students, counselors, and especially the great principle, Antoinette, care. This school is in a pivotal state, it is changing from a low reputation school to a pride filled experience. I would not credit this success to anything else but the work put in by the students and teachers. Besides the set backs like the common thread of low income among the student's families, the students are persevering. I see it especially in the class of 2019. There is many students achieving straight and a majority of As on their report cards. The As in AP and honors classes. The most potential I have ever seen in my life. These kids are going to get what they set out to get, and with that I can say San Bernardino High School is one of the best in the city.
The majority of Staff does not care about the well-being of their students. Academics are not a priority. Administration is guilty of choosing favorites and does not do a good job of controlling violence and disrespect from students. Although there are many useful clubs and programs on campus, they cannot be enjoyed, because of the unsafe and unorganized atmosphere of the school.
