San Benito High School offers multiple post-secondary pathways for students. There are resources and mentors you can talk to for college, vocational and trade schools, employment, military, and other post-graduate pathways. There are ample facilities that are nicely kept for sports, education, and there are clean places to eat lunch. The library expanded its hours for students, and many AP classes are offered at the high school. The high school works with local community colleges for those seeking to take dual-enrollment classes. Multiple school events and extracurriculars are offered for entertainment, and a culture of a strong work ethic, being Baler STRONG, is encouraged. Support study sessions, Haybaler Support Times, are offered for students to get extra help in classes, where students can sign up weekly for them. Free food is offered to all students after school in multiple locations, including a free market pantry. The school aims to aid students in high school and beyond it.
I really loved how teachers and staff were very supportive of their students. I also enjoyed their sports program as it is very successful and has amazing athletes. Overall, it's a great school with a wonderful campus and I would definitely recommend kids to go there.
I liked that san benito is a large school however, the small town mindset made adapting to a new town very difficult. I wish the students were as inclusive as the teachers.
Easily one of the best high schools in California. It has everything a student could ask for. Top notch learning and athletic facilities making it a great environment for teenagers to grow.
I think San Benito High School is a pretty decent school in the grand scheme of things. We have a large variety of classes. We also have a decent amount of clubs and extracurriculars.
I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it.
In my years of attending this high school, I can say I enjoyed it very much. There's been so much improvement since my freshman year. For example, the beginning of having 30 mins of a class of your choice, to seek help, or to finish work. Also, new construction on the campus is utilized very well.
San Benito high school is a great school. I am still currently having a good time being there and I never had any trouble with the school. Most teachers want to see their students succeed and others don't try as hard. The food is great especially their chicken sandwiches. One thing I would change is involving the students more by creating more events for them to join.
I meet a lot of my closed friends here and the campus is really nice. But the only thing that I don't like are the coaches for the sports department, they suck. The teachers are great and really nice and are always ready to help. An overall good school to attend.
The campus itself is great but the staff truly does not listen to its students. Plus, about 3/4ths of the student body is as racist and ignorant as they come and the staff really does nothing when students are being targetted. They only care about ASB and football and that is pretty much it.
A lot of the buildings are new but the new homeroom schedule is unnecessary and many of the paths to get to class have been closed off which causes pepole to get late to class.
It's an okay school, wish they would listen to their students more but it is a small town and it does give good opportunities for everyone
San Benito is a school in which you can totally call average. The students aren't the complete best but they tend to at least pass, lunch is terrible as any other school lunch food around america. Something i would change would probably be the total interior of the school. Its quite an old school probably as old as my grandparents if the least, I just simply imply that a remodeling could be needed. Overall its a great small school devoted to improve and is willing to change for the people's benefit.
I like the academics at San Benito High School. I really enjoyed the books I read for my English classes throughout the year. The school has many clubs and activities for people to join. It also has a good sports program. Unfortunately some teachers are rather tough and have a bad reputation. The administration can also be kinder and more respectful towards the students.
San Benito High School itself is a beautiful campus and is full of people who don’t exclude others. Help is offered to those who need it and sports play a roll on the influence of many.
Overall high school was one of the greatest experiences. The faculty and staff are very friendly and absolutely helpful. Every teacher is very open to help students with any subject they could be struggling with. The administration keep a high and firm school life to ensure the success of the school and the students who help the picture.
The school is great overall, although some aspects can change to create a better atmosphere. The students and teachers are great. The students are basically as average as any other California public high school, and the teachers are welcoming and helpful. However, the school can improve on its strict dress code rules, as well as its unbelievably rude administration. Also, improving food conditions wold be a great choice.
