COVID-19 Update for Prospective Students and Families:

SAA offers both in-person and remote learning. In-person learners are grouped by cohort and stay together throughout the day. Remote learners are connected to campus through a live-streamed classroom so they can experience The Academy from their homes. Teachers incorporate brain breaks because we all know boys need to move – both at home and in the classroom. Learn More

San Antonio Academy of Texas offers prekindergarten through eighth grade boys an exceptional academic program that features small classes, a family-like atmosphere, the development of a positive self-image, and a foundation for life based upon the love of God and country, integrity, and respect for each other.

In the primary school grades, classes do not exceed 18 boys per academic section (14 per Pre-K section). Classes are taught by two grade-level teachers in prekindergarten through the second grade. Each student’s classroom experiences are supplemented by sessions in special classes including art, physical education, music, library, Spanish and integrated technology.

At San Antonio Academy, students in fourth through eighth grades are instructed in a systematic way, learning specific techniques for listening, reading, managing time effectively, taking responsibility for one’s own learning, memory training, and test-taking strategies.

We love the Academy experience! Both of my boys have attended SAA and both have definitely taken to heart the motto of Be Honest. Be Kind. Be the Best You Can Be. They are taught from the very beginning to treat others as you would want to be treated.
The academics are rigorous, but certainly prepare them for High School and the world beyond!
So proud to be a part of the SAA family!

My son has been at the Academy for seven years. Our experience has been outstanding. He has been challenged, developed leadership skills, made friendships that will last a lifetime, and learned the importance of helping others.
San Antonio Academy teaches boys both academics and values in a family-style environment. Boys can be boys and feel safe to step out of their comfort zone in all activities, from athletics to academics.
