Kalama Intermediate School was a place where I could either enjoy a full day or dread the entire day. The classes you take depends on the teachers that are given. For example, I learned a lot from my middle school science teachers, but some of my other friends I know for a fact did not learn one bit from certain teachers, so in a big way I was at an advantage. I also had a great math teacher in 8th grade, much better then 7th or 6th grades. But other classes also can have good people as teachers but not particularly good teachers. There also is a big part of being in a safe place, there are security guards on campus which is good but also questions the safety in the first place, but when I was attending nothing very violent had happened. Since this is a pretty safe environment I would say that a lot of the kids there are more on the nicer side. Which makes this school an okay school but better then a lot on the island of Maui in my opinion.

My experience at Kalama Intermediate wasn’t the worst, but also wasn’t the greatest. I enjoyed going to ukulele and home economics. They’ve added more courses and no longer require physical education which I think is bad.
This school is cheese and is a pee pee. i would like to file a lawsuit against the very ground i walk on. You how their talking about Hawaii being paradise? Nope it all taste like rotten bread.
