I like how safe I feel at school. Although it is a smaller high school, the safeness of the building is evident. I also like the attention the teachers give the students. They like to make sure we have a solid understanding and a good grasp on topics we learn about. I love the school and the environment!
I am really enjoying my time at Salisbury-Elk Lick. The school is small, so I am able to get lots of one-on-one time with my teachers and other staff. I love how personable the school is. Everyone knows everyone, so it feels like going to school with family. The school offers clubs such as FBLA and Scholastic Quiz, which give me an opportunity to use and grow my talents. I was previously homeschooled, so coming to public high school was a big change. Salisbury-Elk Lick made my transition very easy because they worked with me and my parents in a very personal way. I am very happy with my decision to come to public high school.
It’s an okay school. There’s definitely some pluses, but there’s also some negatives. I personally think that the principal there is amazing, but some of the teachers are okay. You definitely get one on one learning which is nice. Overall it’s okay I guess.
