Salida Highschool has provided me with amazing opportunities to further my education in so many fields. wether it is academic, social, or what have you. Not only that but it has offered me more than enough opportunities to myself ahead in college. Another thing I love about Salida is its diverse choices of extracurriculars. Making a high school experience all the better. The teachers are nothing but benevolent and our school as a whole is always trying to find ways to better ourselves. In an eco, community, and structural ways. I would not change a thing.

I like that Salida High School is a small school with alot of one on one teaching environments. There are alot of extracurricular activities and sports that cater to the whole student body.
The thing i would change at Salida High School is that being from Colorado it makes it alot easier for kids to have access to drugs, vaping, etc alot easier and I wish the school would hold higher standards towards the students in regards to a no tolerence atmosphere at the school. It seems they have lowered there standard alot on the issue and it makes the whole school system break down instead of holding people to a higher accountability.
I've lived in this little small town my whole life and everywhere I go there is nowhere like it. The teachers and all the staff are caring and treat you like an adult. Everyone who moves here from other schools can't explain how lucky we are to have always had this treatment and ability to learn how we want with amazing teachers. They care about every student and reach out to everyone, since it is a small school they take time to learn everyone's names, personalities and their individual hobbies. I'm happy that I have created these relationships with all the staff at Salida High School and was able to grow up with amazing, influential adults.
