    This school is getting worse! Last year (2018), Salesian High School was at 17 out of 120 Best Catholic High Schools in New York Area which was pretty good. This year (2019) Salesian is at 106 out of 120. That is seriously bad!! This school is going to get even worse within the next few years! The very good and popular teachers that can actually teach and have a degree are starting to leave this school little by little as the school takes a nose dive down the charts. Then they are replacing these good teachers with substitutes that don’t have a degree and don’t even teach and kids acting like wild animals in the classrooms, disrespecting the teachers, making moaning noises, juuling in the bathrooms, and slapping each other on the necks and blowing kisses at each other like their in 5th grade. This school mainly focuses on sports and not academics. That pretty much sums up this school as of right now! It’s going to get even worse as time goes on!

    The teachers at Salesian High a school are very efficient at their jobs and do an amazing job of making the classroom environment interactive and enjoyable. The student population isn’t very diverse, with many students geographically being from the Bronx and a majority of the overall body being Albanian. Bullying isn’t really an issue, however there are times where students get out of hand and try to disrespect teachers. It’s a very good environment for college readiness, however it’s definitely academically intensive and not for everyone.
    The school is goo. Some average teachers, and then some fantastic teachers, just like any other school. Regardless, the kids seem to excel. Teachers will do anything to help you raise your grade. The science department is lacking good teachers, while the English department is at its peak. The math department is filled with young teachers, so the students tend to be "cooler" with them. Some misbehavior in the school that the faculty decides to "slide under the rug" maybe because the school likes to take students' money.
