Salesian High School is pretty much what people expect it to be. It has a big campus and good sized classrooms, but they need more teachers, especially more reliable ones. They recently lost quite a few teachers, a couple due to retirement, but mostly because of issues within the school that I am not so aware of so I won’t say much about it. However, there are many people (administration and staff) in the school that are very good people whose main focus is making the students’ experiences smoother. The guidance department is great, as the women really try their best to help the students and the entire school at the same time, as well as helping us seniors in every way possible to graduate with ease and help us apply to colleges. If the school becomes a little more organized and efficient regarding events, contact with students and parents, and just to improve the overall experience on a daily basis. They can do this while building up their faculty again, so hopefully they will.
This school contains countless teachers who wants to see you excel and succeed in your academic career and in life. Your well-being in the Salesian community are well concerned by all the faculties and staff. Moreover, there are many teachers who are one-hundred percent committed and are passionate about what they teach. Furthermore, the various clubs present here at Salesian aid you in finding where your future interests reside in. To be frank, one comes to Salesian with half of their identity, but one leaves Salesian with their full identity, since they’ve truly discovered who they are during their time at Salesian.
Salesian High School is an excellent all-boys Catholic school. As a sophomore, it seems as if this year was better than the last. Despite some bumps along the road with teachers leaving, Salesian is a strong academic and athletic school that puts emphasis on the development of young men. Another great aspect of Salesian is the relatively small student body, which allows a more personal learning experience. All in all, Salesian is an excellent school, and your children will greatly benefit from going here.
