This school has never had very good luck with English teachers. Sports are taken so seriously here that all the money goes to the football team rather than what they should really be putting money toward. I also just feel like there's something wrong about the school. For a small town and a small school, you wouldn't expect as many tragedies as we had to experience: suicides, car accidents, student-teacher relationships, and so on. If you don't like your personal life to be spread around like wildfire, then Salado is probably not your best bet. Although, I do have to admit, the academics and the competitive nature of the school is exceptional compared to other schools. The students are pretty well behaved and respectful, as well-- at least to the teachers.

Although Salado is very successful, the quality of teachers are atrocious. There is most certainly a need for new teachers that care about the education and well being of their students. I think I can count on one hand the number of "good" teachers. Along with these terrible teachers, they do not prepare you for college at any level at all!
Considering that I've only gone to Salado since I was young I like it very much overall. The students get passionate about football season and participate in red week, pink week, or any other fun spirit things. The teachers also do a splendid job of making a one-on-one connection with the students in order to give us a higher education. Our academics is competitive and students do their best in order to achieve the best results. The one thing I wish Salado did better is to do events that got the students to know each other and not just kids that we've grown up with. Every school has their cliques but Salado doesn't do the best job at welcoming new students, and that's not the teachers fault, its the students.
