I attended St. Thomas K-12. Years passed. Then I sent my sons to St. Thomas. It was wonderful when I attended and even better when my sons attended. Excellent education, extracurriculars. Fantastic Scottish band and drumline. Fantastic Drama Dept. Great sports opportunities for boys and girls. The best Headmaster. He has done so much for St. Thomas over the years. Great advancement while still respecting the traditions. After graduation, both sons received scholarships at excellent colleges. My oldest son found a wonderful job in Computer Science/Finance after graduating from Baylor University. My youngest son started taking Chinese at St. Thomas, studied abroad for a summer in Taiwan and spent a semester in Beijing, China, and will graduate soon from The University of Texas in Austin. Hurricane Harvey did its best, but couldn't shake the spirit of such a great school, staff and school family!

I have been coming to STE since the fourth grade, and it is the first school that has truly challenged me academically. The teachers care about each student and are willing to meet with the students to discuss how to improve their grade. The college counselor encourages students to attend colleges that fit each student’s needs, rather than The highest ranked colleges. The school truly is Christ centered, giving students the opportunity to learn in a healthy environment. Students can easily submit ideas for new clubs and activities, adding to an ever-increasing list of extracurriculars offered at STE.

The school has done an excellent job dealing with Hurricane Harvey, quickly finding a temporary location for the high school and building Scotland Yard for the lower and middle schools. I have seen the plans for the rebuild, and I am excited to see them come to life. I couldn’t be happier with the truly unique education I have received here.
Saint Thomas' Episcopal is a warm and friendly environment for learning, both academic and social. The classical curriculum is challenging and prepares the students well for college. Everything that the school does is "Christ-centered" -- it really helps the kids remember why we are here and what is the most important thing. The school has stayed small, so the kids get plenty of attention as well as opportunities to shine. Come see the beautiful green spaces!
