My grandsons attend St. Olafs and I have volunteered weekly in their classes for 5 years. I am a retired school nurse and have been involved with many public schools during my career. What I love about this school are the small classes, caring teachers, parent involvement, and willingness to “go the extra mile” that I have seen in the staff. Academic test scores are consistently above district averages. I enjoy the atmosphere there when I am at the school. I love this little school!
We have been attending St Olaf since August and are so glad we took the leap attend. Not one detail or concern hasn’t been addressed, the safety precautions to keep the kids safe are incredible, the curriculum is challenging and the teachers and staff brighten our kids hearts. We love having God in our kids lives every day and knowing they are truly cared for. The violin program is wonderful. We love St Olaf!
I will be a 5th grade student and my school is amazing. My teacher taught my how to do multiplication and division. My mom says my reading lexile score doubled this year so I read above my grade level. We had a 35 book reading challenge. I didn't think I could do it, but I did. My art teacher taught me how to make paper mache puppets with balloons and salt water color paintings. My favorite book that I got to read was The Wild Robot, books I and II. We learn Spanish, not just the words but about the Spanish culture. In music we learn to sing as a choir and perform at church. I love my school and you would too! Come visit us and see how fun it is.
