I went into Saint Mary's Hall as a freshman and even though I was new going into the school, I fit right in! Over the past four years here I have found it easy to become involved in various activities such as sports, theater productions, and clubs, all of which are open and inviting to every student. Students here are encouraged to have a voice in school policy, and we frequently work with administration to figure out ways to benefit everyone in the community. Overall, Saint Mary's Hall is a community which allows everyone to feel seen and heard while providing opportunities to find your passions while managing your classwork.

I have been at SMH since kindergarten and although there have been many ups and downs I could not imagine going to another school nor do I think there is one in San Antonio. As for opportunities, the school is unmatched with its various clubs, councils, classes, fine arts, sports, and student experiences. I went to Hawaii to study marine biology and when I tell others they are often shocked at all of the things I have done while in high school. I was extremely worried about the college counseling situation but my counselor went above and beyond to help me through the process and I have so many great options to choose from this year. I hope very much that others are able to experience this!

We have had kids at SMH for the past 11 years and it has been an incredible experience. The school fosters a highly intellectual environment, it is cool to be smart at Saint Mary's Hall. A big highlight for us is that it not only offers great academics and has the best teachers in the city but it is a one stop shop, kids can experience everything, from sports to dance to speech & debate to private music lessons. The school also offers many leadership opportunities in the lower, middle and upper school, from class ambassadors to sports and student councils and a vast amount of clubs to foster their interests and creativity. The campus is beautiful, open spaces, lots of trees, outdoor classrooms, amphitheater, a gorgeous cafeteria with amazing food with all types of cuisines from around the world, but Wednesday is always Mexican Food Day! The opportunities for growth are simply unmatched, SMH is simply the best!
