This school is excellent! I am so glad to have had such great teachers to prepare me for my college journey and I am thrilled with the overall quality of the STEM program especially. The fine arts department is small and I do wish that I could have been a part of a large band, etc. but I am happy with the experience I got.

I had an overall great experience at SJCP. There really is a culture of wanting to achieve and try your best in school. Most of the kids want to do well and like to learn. Because I was surrounded by hardworking peers, it made me want to work hard. The class size is about 50-70 a class depending on the year, which makes it feel a little small sometimes and it can be very cliquy. The teachers (with the exception of a few) are really good and care for all their students since a normal class size is about 15-25 students. Sometimes it’s boring because the school is small but you really get to know all different types of people and become a family. There really is a community in this school which makes it great. I’ve spent 4 years here and do not regret it because I’ve gotten an excellent education and developed friendships with some amazing people.
My son loves this school. The teachers, administrators and coaches care about every kid. Most students participated in multiple sports and after-school activities. I'm impressed by the student leaders and how the entire school focuses on community service. The coursework is challenging and it's preparing them well for college acceptance and success in college.
