Saint James School Reviews
SJS enriched me academically, musically, artistically, and socially. I miss being able to see my friends all the time, traditions, and all the memories. The extra help hours were helpful. Beautiful campus!
CONS:
My first few years there were hell, due to mental illnesses and lack of mental health resources. My roommate bullied me along with others, and my dorm head couldn't help switch my roommate. I barely had friends and felt alone, lost in the dorms and in my daily routine. I think people didn't like me because I was depressed and complained. There is more stress than an average high school since you have to learn to balance school, socializing, required sports, extracurriculars, and time to yourself. This school is sometimes cult-like with the head priest as the leader. He has many opinions I do not agree with. Some school rules were dumb. The community needs to work on inclusion and equality.
Think carefully before enrolling, because you will either love or hate it.
