Saint Henry School continues to be such an incredibly positive community for my family. This is my 19th year as a parent here, and I continue to be amazed at the incredible effort the faculty and staff puts in to every aspect of SHS; combining exceptional faith-based learning, outstanding athletics and extra-curricular activities all into one very special place!
I went there a few years ago, and I know it has changed since then, but based on what I know, the English and Literature programs are absolutely excellent and deserve so much praise. However, the community is very exclusive and any diversity is difficult to come by. The catholic education is excellent, especially if you never want your children to divert from the faith. Except for me. And about 25% of the kids who could see through the issues in the religion, or at least how it’s presented. I would never take back my time here, but it’s very difficult to be an independent thinker or social because of the homogenous nature of the school’s culture.
We’ve been at SHS for over a decade and love the staff, teachers and community so much! Everyone is truly caring and committed to the best for our children.
