A cutting edge school with progressive approaches to learning and problem solving. Great leadership and positive vibes from Mrs. Pearson and her amazing support team of teachers and specialists. A very special school offering positive tools and instruction at an important stage in a child's development. We are fortunate to have this public school in our community.

Students seem to get along well here and tolerance and diversity are encouraged. They have implemented the MOSAIC program, which encourages students to be accepting of their individuality and to be themselves and accept others for who they are. The school is pretty evenly split 50-50 Caucasian and Hispanic, but not a lot of other racial groups are represented just because that's the population of the town. For the most part it seems like the White and Latino students get along fine and I don't see a lot of racial tension. My daughter is Caucasian and her two best friends are Indian and Hispanic, and that seems pretty much par for the course at this school.
There aren't too many clubs since it is just the elementary level. There is student council and there are lots of fun activities for students and their families, however.
