No doubt Saint Edward's School is one of the best schools on the Treasure Coast. However, that seems to be the only thing the school prides themselves on. They prefer to compete against the public schools in the area (which aren't great) instead of trying to be a well-recognized school in Florida or the country. The social scene at St. Ed's is difficult. Students are very cliquey and it is hard to find a good group of friends because the school is so small. The students at this school are genuinely nice people and really care about others. In terms of academics this school is quite difficult. Most students who transfer from public schools, and did well there, tend to struggle the first semester. If you sign up to take difficult classes, you should expect hours of grueling homework. If you choose to take the easy track it will be a breeze. This school has a 100% graduation rate and a 100% college acceptance rate.
The best middle school and high school experience I could have hoped for. My daughter was very well prepared for college. She had many opportunities for cultural, philanthropic and athletic experiences.
This school changed my outlook on academia. I am at Reed College, and never would have known about this great school if it wasn't for the guidance department. They really helped with keeping all students on task to complete. We also had many exchange students from China, so I learned a bit of Chinese and went to Russia with Junior United Nations.
