I absolutely love the teachers here. They're all very understanding and supportive; you can tell that they are truly there for you. SCC is a very small school, so it will naturally be lacking in some areas. For example, because of our small town and location, we lack diversity. Along with that, though I love my music teachers, I wish we had a more developed music program at our school. I love music and love to be challenged, but I often find myself wishing I was challenged more. I wish our academics were more developed as well. Our school is a pretty typical small, public school, so it isn't the best place for a student who wants to be challenged and high-achieving like I am. I would do better at a different school. But, it does its job for the average student. The teachers are great and all of the staff is very friendly—especially the lunch ladies. They always have a bright smile on their faces, and they know every single one of us. Because of these things, I do enjoy my school.
I feel like in any school the teachers make the biggest impact on the quality of you education and the teachers at my school are amazing. Each one is passionate about the subject they teach. They are always there to help a struggling student.
Great school, nice teachers. Smaller class sizes. Great facility. Sports are pretty good except because we are small we don't offer everything. Like lacrosse or soccer yet. Great community!
They care very deeply about the activities that you are in such as sports. Sports are a huge deal, along with homecoming. Homecoming is one of the best parts of the whole school year. They care about your academics about just as much.
Saint Croix Central High School is known for its culture. Teachers care about students and are always willing to work with them. Students are known as kind and outgoing in the district and in other districts. Overall, attending Saint Croix Central has been one of the most positively formative experiences I've had the opportunity to take part in.
Enjoyed myself there. Made wonderful memories and participated in multiple sports as well! My high school prepared me for college, and that was more that I could ever ask for from my High School. I was set a solid path to follow and now I’m doing exceptionally well in my Physicals Therapy Program in college.
I like the small size. It makes connecting with people much easier. The school spirit is incredible. The administration is very tough and sometimes is too harsh on students. There are very good teachers and teachers that I do not think belong in the subject the teach but they are all decent if not awesome people.
Great school spirit, every homecoming is a blast! Incredible athletics programs with very successful seasons. Wonderful academics with highly ranked test scores. Very inclusive and welcoming staff who put in the work to make sure every student gets the best opportunities that they can. Very respectful students at sporting events as well, this school has built an amazing culture for future generations to come. Academic clubs and other extracurricular activities excel as well. Very well rounded school.
I am glad to be a student of St. Croix Central High, but it is definitely in need of improvement. Many of the problems stem from a lack of student involvement. With improvement in student resources the school may be able to flourish, but if the students continue to show no effort in their studies the school will continue to flounder.
Small school but very welcoming and friendly school. There may not be a lot of diversity but everyone respects each other and a lot of people get along. We're like a family, everyone is willing to help each other and when you're struggling with something teachers are very helpful. Most teachers are understanding and willing to take time to help you even if it is not the subject area they teach.
My experience at the Saint Croix Central High School was phenomenal. The school was centered around student support. The administrators were genuine and cared deeply for the students. I would definitely love to see a bit of improvement in the school's resources and technology.
This school offers a lot of new and different educational classes. The teachers are great and they are all highly educated in the subjects that they teach. Some even have majors in more than one subject. The scheduling process is easy and quick.
My school is very good about diversity. We always welcoming everyone now matter who they are or where they come from. I never see peer pressure at this school. Everyone does what they want at their own pace. We all face challenges, but together we over come them. We are not that racially diverse. White is the most prominent race at this school, and even in the community.
There are plenty of extracurricular clubs and organizations. There are a large amount of different opportunities for the students here.
All my teachers have been nice and there for me. If I am to struggle, they are always there for me. My school has a low tolerance for drugs, bullying, misbehavior and anything else illegal or bad. This school is small and everyone knows everyone which is very nice.
All of our teachers are very nice and you can ask them anything. You need help, they are always there for you to ask.
Some AP courses but only in language and history. Overall, not too bad
