    Saint Andrew's Episcopal School Reviews

Both my kids attended Saint Andrew’s from 1st to 8th grade. The youngest one just completed 8th grade this year. We feel that the program is very well balanced with the appropriate mix of academics, sports, performing arts, and character education. The small class size allows the teachers and students to know each other very well. Students are comfortable speaking publicly for their project presentations. In addition to the core academic subjects, Music, P.E., Computer Technology, are also part of the standard curriculum. Students from the school have a strong sense of ethics and social justice issues from regular discussions in Religion and Social Studies classes. Sports teams, orchestra, choir, jazz/pop band, and school play have a no-cut policy so students get to try a variety of extracurricular activities. The parents community is amazingly active and friendly. Graduates from Saint Andrew’s are well sought after by the local competitive high schools.

As a current parent of two at Saint Andrew’s, I can share that this is a dedicated educational community. During the campus visit, I was truly amazed by how generously the parents and students at Saint Andrew’s shared their experiences. The students were very welcoming and helpful when my kids started school here, which eased them into the new environment smoothly.

Even though we have only been here for one year so far, we already clearly see that our kids have become better articulating their thoughts, how much they have enjoyed the school activities, and how they have challenged themselves to try new things for the opportunities that the school and teachers provided. I really appreciate how the teachers are willing to help and to support the students to become a better version of themselves.

If I could turn back the clock, I wish I had found this school earlier for my kids.
Saint Andrew's is a top-notch educational community. Our daughter spent grades 6-8 there, and during those years received an outstanding education and the inspiration and tools needed to become a curious, happy, empathetic, generous, inclusive and socially useful young woman. Thanks in large part to the folks at St. Andrew's, she is very well-prepared to excel in high school, college, and beyond.
