We choose the school primary because it is so Christ-centered. This specific focus provides the ideal environment for providing rigorous liberal arts education tailored to each of our children’s capabilities -to challenge them each to become the individual Gods call them. Thank you, St. Agnes for supporting us to educate our children so well!

St. A has better financial long-term vision. But the current high school needs attention and tomorrow’s donors will vanish. Families are ready to leave. No parent groups, a few terrible teachers, no feedback vehicles, school board isn’t active. Admin doesn’t appear it had a plan to develop and improve with its blessing of increased enrollment.
Also, the benefits of extra-curriculars cannot be underestimated. Too many students are lukewarm because extra-curriculars are severely underdeveloped. Parent help is not encouraged. Admin says “until participation improves” but their awful communication is why it doesn’t. If it’s not football or baseball, you will be ignored. Not even one more elective, nor sport, nor activity when the HS has nearly doubled? Refusal to share 1-5 year vision. If the HS impressed, fluctuations in money and enrollment wouldn’t be so severe. They figure if families leave, they’ll be replaced. Not always, St. A.
Saint Agnes is an amazing school; I absolutely loved going here for high school! It's small enough that everyone knows everybody and it's very easy to meet people when you are just starting out. It is a pre-kindergarten to 12th grade school, with tons of family involvement and a strong supporting community. We have lots of teachers with very distinguishing backgrounds and educations. Of course everything is centered around the catholic faith. There is school mass every Thursday, and a religion class every year that you attend. While it is centered on the faith, you do not have to be catholic to attend. It is a great school, and I highly recommend it if you want a distinguishing high school education.
