Sage International School Boise Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 43 reviews
We are in our 10th year at Sage and have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. We started in kindergarten, and their IB program provides so much hands-on inquiry-based learning to make school fun for young learners. The teachers are all amazing. There is no school on Fridays, giving students a chance to recoup or catch up on schoolwork, and the teachers and staff have a full day each week to collaborate, prep, and learn. Their middle school and high school programs are rigorous but fair, and do a wonderful job preparing our kids for college, career, and just life in general! They teach kids to be critical thinkers, but also caring and responsible citizens of the world. We love Sage!
Sage International School deserves five stars for the community it has built. The small school creates a more intimate learning setting and the Sage culture allows for students to form bonds with their teachers. The teachers at Sage International are passionate about what they teach, and this rubs off on their students who gain an eagerness to learn. Although the courses may be rigorous and challenging, the hard work is worth it in the end. I feel prepared for college because of the work I have accomplished at Sage and the lifelong bonds I have formed with my peers and teachers.
The teachers there are wonderful. Not only do they ensure that the content is being taught in more than one way, but the also take the time to check in on their students. The teach you life skills, and make you a better person. I enjoyed my time at Sage because the teachers care about the person you’re going to become, not just how well you can learn. Sure I know the content, and yes I know it well, but none of that would matter if I didn’t know how to enter a world where I would need it. I learned more than just regurgitating information. I learned how to understand it, connect it all, and apply it. Sage was the best school I’d ever been to, and I genuinely believe that I’m a better person for going there than if I had gone to a larger public school. The fact that it’s K-12 is also amazing. I’ve been there since I was in 5th grade, and I got to make deep and important connections with my peers. You don’t get that at a regular 4 year high school. I loved Sage.
