SAGE Academy is a small, student centered learning program focused on community and service. Through project based learning, students are given a voice in their education and opportunities to illustrate their learning in innovative ways. Students engage in hands on learning through projects, expeditions, and community service. We believe in a holistic approach to education and that each student is an individual, with unique experiences and abilities.

The purpose of Advisory is to make sure each student has one teacher they know is their advocate-making sure their learning needs are being met, encouraging them to make good choices, and help set goals for their future. My child started the school year very shut down, anxious, and overwhelmed due to IEP needs being unmet in traditional public school. They had missed 45% of the previous school year as a result. The staff is welcoming, supportive, and able to tailor education to the child's specific needs rather than apply a cookie-cutter approach. This wholistic approach resulted in my child looking forward to school, missing very few days, and actually improving grades and comprehension.

SAGE is AMAZING! Smaller classes, hand on learning and teachers that really care. My student has thrived at SAGE and is well on his way to being prepared for his future after high school. So glad we found this great school!

When I first applied at sage I was honestly very scared mostly because of what people would think about me , but as soon as I came in on the first day of school, It instantly felt like home, teachers were welcoming and willing were happy to get to know you. I really love that sage is a very diverse group of people because it makes me feel happy to see lots of races come together and be good people, what I also love is that sage always had a salad bar when it comes to food aspect, because as a person trying to lose weight that helps me a lot , and they have a no candy policy which is honestly perfect for me because I love candy and not having to get them helps me stick to my goal. Lastly I love that sage is a project based school because it make me empathize more into my thinking when I am working on my project, having to do researches and brainstorming is awesome and that's why to me sage is a heaven made school built for me.
