I graduated from Saegertown High School in 2019, and I had a positive and memorable high school experience. Class sizes were always small, so I was able to receive personal help from all of my teachers. I joined Saegertown High School's Key Club, and it truly changed my high school experience. I was exposed to a passionate group of people, and I was able to exploit my passion for community service. Saegertown provided a wide range of class and club options, so each individual was able to participate in a field they were passionate about. I do wish Saegertown would've provided more opportunities to explore options for college. My search for a college and major was done independently.
Saegertown is a very small school with no school spirit. Nobody likes being there. The Saegertown students see going to school as walking to their execution. The are few teachers who put REAL effort into preparing you for college, but those who do push the students with hard assignments. The school's main priority is to give the students the time they need to learn the material, evident in their new scheduling.
Saegertown Junior/Senior High School is a safe school who has much value in the success of students after high school. This school pushes all students to do their best and gives many opportunities for students to get help from teachers if needed. When it comes to change, Saegertown schools experience a great deal of change when it comes to the school day length and the schedule in general. Some classes are harder to get into because the size of the school is small. Overall, Saegertown Junior/Senior High School is a safe place to be, and the experience has been rewarding.
