Saddleback high school had a variety of programs that prepared me for my college career. This school focuses primarily on preparing students for different college pathways. For example, we were presented with the many options of community college, CSU, and UC's, and trade schools. We received adequate academic preparation for the future and received many options for extracurricular activities. Overall, this is well-rounded high school in aspects of education and is a safe environment.

My experience at saddleback high school has been absolute stupendous! The teachers are supportive and always look out for their students. The overall atmosphere of the school is somewhat of a family, we maybe small but we all care for each and every one of us. Although the only thing I would suggest for improvements would be the school lunches. They are undesirable and unfulfilling to the students.
What I love about Saddleback is our dedicated principal. He has always been there to listen to me when I have troubles whether they are personal or school related. He's even exposed me to new colleges that I never thought about applying to before. It's unique because he can get kids from all backgrounds to try harder in school, and he supports all of the programs. He has attended events with marching band which is very special to me because we are typically the forgotten group. He makes everyone feel special and like we all have someone to support our academic goals. This is important because not all Hispanic youth has people to support them at home emotionally, academically, or financially. Our principal always goes the extra mile to prove the people that stereotype us wrong. I'm very proud to attend Saddleback because of the great support that I get there emotionally and academically.
