Having a Catholic education was paramount for my family. I don't think it is something you appreciate until you realize those days are almost gone. My school is a family; really it is. The administration, faculty and staff are invested in all of us; our families included. We aren't just faces in the crowd. I know I am ready for what ever college has to throw at me academically and I am certain I will succeed thanks to the honors courses, dual enrollment and enrichment programs I took while there. I played organized sports for 4 years and what my coaches taught is invaluable; fortitude, perseverance, compromise and loyalty. It is a brotherhood I will miss tenfold. But the most important lessons I learned weren't just about who I am and who I can be. Sacred Heart High School deepened my love for my Faith and opened my eyes to what life is really about; selflessness and charity. If there were more of that in our world, we might just survive each other.

Sacred Heart has an excellent faculty. The principal is always around not only to discipline, but to be a friend to the students throughout the day. The guidabce counselor helps all students who approach her for help with anything. The office staff is great. The secretary is the back bone of the entire school. The school has random mandatory school programs to lecture the students all about actions we should avoid (ex. Bullying, porn, drugs, etc.). Sacred Heart has a strict dres code and a uniform. The principals want their students to represent their school in a positive, modest manner. We have a uniform but i do not mind persoanlly.
Sacred Heart offers college preparatory classes and is a local academic power house. The school offers numerous chances for a student to deepen his or her Catholic faith. The school is small, so everyone knows everyone. When a student expiriences some type of tragedy such as the loss of a loved one, the school prays together for God's aid. Ther are numerous clubs and sports to participate in for fun. The school has spirit, especially during football season.
