Sacred Heart of Jesus School Reviews
We have had a few children attend and each had problems with bullying and social stratification. Popular vs. unpopular is everywhere but, this is exaggerated and exacerbated because it is permitted and promoted here. Once you're labelled, they don’t want to deal with you anymore, you are dismissed. If your child has any issues they are ignored. Any assistance is hard fought. Some teachers are better than others and the newer teachers are the ones with the compassion and willingness to change for the better. The "seasoned" teachers are unyielding to any new ideas. The principal has been there for 35 years- biggest reasons for the stagnate practices. He clings to old thinking and promotes legacy families at all costs. Second and third generations are attending! Change the principal- this school would be better. He has ruled for 35 years with no oversight.
There is no leadership in this school. Teachers and parents alike run their own agenda. The Catholic faith is taught but rarely practied in life experiences.
I like that Sacred Heart has a family atmosphere. There are many different things for each child to get involved in.
